Porto Antico is one of those places that never stops inspiring me. I often walk by this historic harbor and feel its unique energy—the mix of old buildings, calm water, and the quiet rhythm of the sea.
For this painting, I wanted to capture that feeling of connection between the city and the water. The warm tones of the architecture blend with the soft blues of the sky, while the reflections dance gently on the surface. The slow process of oil painting let me blend tones gently, shaping the water and sky with depth and movement.
This piece is a celebration of Genova’s soul—a place where history meets the sea, and every view tells the story of the city’s life by the water.
